Alpha Graphic Display Terminal PD3000 by Interstate Electronics Corporation

Dismantled at unknown date. Click for larger images!

Left: Complete unit
Centre: Rear panel
Right: First glimpse inside: after removing the ventilation grill in the base of the unit

Left:Next I removed a back panel holding the fan...
Centre: A small number of minor injuries were now sustained...
Right: More blood, if you like

Left: Some time later I finally managed to remove the cabinet
Centre: Here it is from the rear. Notice the large springs, the entire internal circuits are mechanically sprung mounted to the cabinet
Right: Closeup. Connection to the plasma panel is by conductive plastic ribbons

Left: Closeup of one of the mechanical vibration isolation springs, and a note about the plasma voltage
Centre: This shows the ribbons going to the plasma panel, and some of the very thick circuit boards.
Right: This is what the removed case looks like. Probably anodised aluminium.

Some pictures from the sales brochure (thanks Charles for sending me the scan!)
